The double-ended shear beam sits in a self-centering mount, so the weighbridge returns to center after braking shock and off-center loading. CheckLink parallel-link suspension absorbs the motion of vehicles starting and stopping. Up to 130,000 lb concentrated load capacity on the 8560XD.

Self-centering load path
The double-ended shear beam sits in a self-centering mount. After impacts, braking shock and side loads the weighbridge returns to center on its own.
130,000 lb CLC on the 8560XD
The Diamondback 8560XD carries a 130,000 lb concentrated load capacity at 135 tons, on 100,000 lb double-ended shear beam cells — the highest concentrated load capacity in the Thurman catalog.
CheckLink suspension
Parallel links give 360-degree shock suspension and absorb the motion of vehicles starting and stopping. The 8560XD adds four end-wall bumper check bolts, set at installation.
Top or side service access
On the 8560, 8550 and 8560 PV, each load cell is reached through a top corner access plate. The Diamondback 8560XD mounts its load cells and enclosures on the side of the weighbridge, so a technician works them from outside the bridge.
5-year weighbridge warranty
The structural steel weighbridge carries a 5-year warranty from shipment against defective material or workmanship, provided it is serviced at least twice a year by a Thurman-authorized service entity under a Preventive Maintenance Agreement that stays in force for the full warranty period.

Every Thurman electronic scale is configured with one of two load-cell interfaces. Specify an analog interface to combine all the load cell signals into one that is read by the indicator, or trade up to Intalogix for a modern digital solution with the latest in lightning and surge technologies.
