Road work, plant expansions and seasonal sites need a scale that moves when the work moves. The Diamondback 8560 PV sits on a self-contained sub-frame, carrying the full steel deck rating: 90,000 lb concentrated load, 60 to 135 tons, at an 18 in. deck height. It weighs on a prepared surface rather than a poured foundation, so the site work is grading rather than foundation work.

A mechanical option for the temporary site

Some contractors specify mechanical, and a job-site deck is the common reason. The 8100 is a mechanical, portable, steel deck scale: steel levers carry the load and one S-type cell converts it, so an 80 ft deck has one weighing element to calibrate and service. It is specified for aggregate operations, road construction and haul roads.

Concrete where the trucks run

A fixed plant that runs loaded mixers all season can specify a concrete driving surface. The Falcon 8555 gives a 10 in. field-poured deck, at 90,000 lb concentrated load and 60 to 150 tons. Its load cells sit under the outside beams, so checking and replacement happen from beside the platform. It carries NTEP Certificate of Conformance 22-087 and Measurement Canada approval AM-6004.

Tickets the plant and the driver both hold

The TS3301 puts a web server inside the indicator. Ticket formats, transaction history and load-cell diagnostics are reached from any browser on the plant network, with no PC software to install or license. For yards that hand paper to the driver, the gate and accounting from one transaction, the 590 ticket printer produces an original plus four copies on a single insertion.
