Diamondback 8560 Steel Deck Truck Scale

At harvest, the scale is the bottleneck for the whole elevator. Thurman decks are specified where truck traffic never lets up — and where a day of downtime costs more than the scale.

A grain elevator scale works hardest exactly when you can least afford a failure. Inbound and outbound trucks queue from first light through the end of the day, every day of the season. The Diamondback’s self-restoring double-ended shearbeam design takes that repeated loading without drifting out of tolerance — the deck carries the abuse so the load cells don’t.
Pair the deck with a TS3300 indicator and a 218T remote display with integrated traffic light. The indicator controls the light automatically, so the next truck moves as soon as the deck is clear. Tickets and accumulated transaction records are available from any browser on the elevator network through the indicator’s embedded web server — no trip to the scale house to pull a total.
An elevator that ships in unit trains weighs the railcar as well as the truck. The 8765 above-ground track scale is built for slab installation on a siding, rated 85 tons per section, with Intalogix Technology standard — so the cell-by-cell diagnostics running your truck deck cover the track scale too, on one service method and one distributor.
When weight sets the price of grain, the scale must hold NTEP tolerances between state inspections. Thurman distributors are factory-trained to calibrate, certify and service your scale — most within a day’s drive of your elevator.
