The Diamondback 8560 PV arrives with its load cells and suspension installed, ready for a seasonal yard, a construction phase or a leased site. It sets on concrete piers, firm level ground, leveled gravel or heavy timber bearing at least 3,000 PSF. Matched step hinges let the scale be lengthened, shortened or moved later. If a site becomes permanent, removing the bulkheads puts the same weighbridge on a permanent foundation.
The 8560 PV is the Diamondback 8560 steel deck on a portable sub-frame: welded diamond-tread plate at a 1/1260 deflection ratio and an 18 in. deck height. Double-ended shear beam load cells carry the 90,000 lb concentrated load rating through parallel links. The open bottom leaves 5-7/8 in. of clearance for cleanout. Standard lengths run 23 to 80 ft.

Questions
Is the Diamondback 8560 PV legal for trade in the US and Canada?
Yes. It carries NTEP Certificate of Conformance 89-016 in the United States and Measurement Canada approval AM-6004 in Canada. They are separate approvals: an NTEP certificate alone does not clear a scale for commercial use in Canada.
What surface does the Diamondback 8560 PV need?
Firm, unyielding ground that bears at least 3,000 PSF. Concrete piers give the most solid, level base. Firm level ground, a leveled gravel area or heavy wood supports also work. The sub-frames anchor with two bolts per section.
How is the scale moved to a new site?
Disconnect the electronics and remove the anchor bolts. Reinstall the lock-down and shipping bolts, then remove the connecting bolts between modules. Each module lifts by its weighbridge, with the sub-frame attached.
