Falcon 8555 Field Pour Truck Scale
Concrete poured on site. Cells serviced from the side.
The Falcon 8555 gives the site a concrete driving surface, poured in place over factory-ready steel modules. Load cells sit under the outside I-beams, so a technician checks and replaces them from the side of the platform. The cells are stainless steel, hermetically sealed to IP69K, which suits wet sites and yards that are washed down. Braided stainless steel sheathing protects each load cell cable against chafing and rodents.
The deck is a 10 in. field pour wrapped around structural I-beams, a composite module that needs no additional rebar. Concentrated load capacity is 90,000 lb and deflection is 1/1100. Platforms run 10 or 11 ft wide and 10 to 120 ft long, in one to six modules on an above-ground foundation. Checking is an end-wall bump post system.

Questions
Is the Falcon 8555 legal for trade in the US and Canada?
Yes. It carries NTEP Certificate of Conformance 22-087 in the United States and Measurement Canada approval AM-6004 in Canada. They are separate approvals: an NTEP certificate alone does not clear a scale for commercial use in Canada.
Does the concrete deck need rebar?
Not in the deck. The structural I-beams are wrapped in the 10 in. pour to form a composite module, so the deck is poured without additional rebar. Reinforcing steel for the foundation is not included with the scale.
Can the Falcon 8555 go in a pit?
Yes, as the pit-friendly build. The standard scale is designed for an above-ground foundation. The pit-friendly build adds top access cover plates, one per section, ordered with the scale, and pit coping is ordered separately.
