TS600 Desktop Indicator

The TS600 desktop runs one truck scale and holds a full season of inbound and outbound loops with no PC on site. A drag-and-drop string builder matches an existing host application's serial or TCP format without middleware. Printers, remote displays and PC output use its standard ports, with no added card. Automatic traffic light sequencing is standard; lights connect through the optional relay card or a 218T display.
Two builds share the desktop enclosure: the TS611 with Intalogix® for cell-by-cell calibration and diagnostics, and the TS601 for analog load cells. It reads a single scale of as many as 16 cells at 1000 ohms or 10 at 350 ohms. The NEMA 12 enclosure is stainless and powder-coated steel with a 0.80 in. red LED display. Three RS232C, three USB 2.0, a 20 mA output and Ethernet TCP/IP are standard.

The technical picture
The TS611 runs one scale over Intalogix® digital load-cell communication. Load-cell signals are digitized at scale-mounted Smart Sectional Controllers, so calibration and diagnostics run cell by cell instead of across one summed analog signal. Capacity is programmable to 999,999 at 10,000-division commercial resolution.
The desktop enclosure is stainless and powder-coated steel rated NEMA 12, 12.125 x 10.375 x 3.625 in. Three RS232C ports, three USB 2.0 ports, one optically isolated 20 mA output and one RJ45 Ethernet TCP/IP port are standard. The display is a 0.80 in. bright red 16-segment LED.
Three operating modes cover gross-tare-net, inbound/outbound and basic in/out, with 1,000 stored tares and 100,000 transaction records. Reports export to a USB drive as CSV or tab files. The web interface handles configuration, ticket formatting, calibration and a per-cell scale diagnostic.

Specifier & operator FAQ
Does the TS611 work with analog load cells?
No. The TS611 is the Intalogix version and requires a scale fitted with Smart Sectional Controllers and a pit power supply. The analog equivalent is the TS601, item 36165, which uses the Analog Scale Card 30997 in the same desktop enclosure.
How many load cells can it handle?
Up to 16 at 1000 ohms, or up to 10 at 350 ohms, on one scale. The TS611 controls a single scale only.
Can traffic lights be driven straight from the indicator?
The control logic is standard and runs automatically off the threshold weight, with a 2-10 second event delay. Physical lights are separately priced. One route is relay interface card 30920 with a relay box or an ACC 778 light. The other is a 218T remote display, which the TS600 drives over the 20 mA interface with no relay box.
How do transactions get off the indicator?
Three ways. Reports write to a USB flash drive as CSV or tab files sorted by loop ID, date/time or ticket number. A continuous stream goes to a PC over serial or Ethernet TCP/IP in one of five factory-defined formats or a custom string. Transactions are also viewable in the web interface.
What is the warranty?
Two years on new product from date of shipment. Instrumentation, pit power supplies and Smart Sectional Controllers carry five years where Intalogix is installed and a service agreement with an authorized provider remains in effect for the warranty period.
