Thermal Tape Printer
Drop in a roll, print the ticket, move the truck
The TM-T88VII cuts each ticket at the printer, ready to hand to the driver. A near-end sensor warns before the roll runs out mid-transaction. Thermal printing uses no ribbon, so the one item to stock is paper roll 39084, 230 ft per roll. It is supplied for the TS3300 on a single USB cable, and rated for 20 million printing lines and 3.0 million cuts.
Print speed reaches 500 mm/sec (19.7 in./sec), on friction-fed rolls up to 3.27 in. (83 mm) in diameter. The black ABS case is 5.71 x 7.68 x 5.83 in. and 3.74 lb. Power is 24 VDC, and the supply ships in the box.

Specifier & operator FAQ
Which indicators does the TM-T88VII work with?
It is supplied for use with the TS3300 indicator only, over USB cable 29827C. Manual 51705 lists it as the supported USB printer, set under CONFIGURATION MENU: COM PORTS, with AUTO PRINT available in GTN mode. Indicators outside the TS3300 line use Thurman's serial ticket printers instead.
Is the TM-T88VII legal for trade?
No NTEP Certificate of Conformance number and no Measurement Canada approval number for this printer appears in any source read, so both fields are blank. The approvals on record are electrical and EMC only: FCC Class A, IEC-003 Class A, UL 62368-1 and CSA C22.2 No. 62368-1. Those are not weights and measures approvals, and NTEP and Measurement Canada remain separate.
What does it print?
Weigh tickets in the enabled ticket formats, plus the accumulator record. Manual 51705 states the TS3300 accumulates weighments and prints a transaction record using the 220 tape printer or the T88VII. Audit trail summaries and stored tare reports also target a configured printer, selected from the menu when more than one is set up.
Does it use a ribbon?
No. It is a direct thermal printer, so the single consumable is thermal paper. The matching direct thermal paper roll is item 39084: 3.3 in wide, 2.85 in roll diameter, 0.44 in core, 230 ft long. Maximum roll diameter for the printer is 3.27 in (83 mm), paper thickness 48 to 80 microns, friction fed.
What ships in the box?
The printer, its power supply and one small roll of test paper. The USB cable is item 29827C and carries no charge when it is specified on the printer order; it must be listed on the order to be supplied.
How long is it rated to last?
Printer reliability is 20 million printing lines, per literature 104986. The same document adds MTBF 360,000 hours, MCBF 70,000,000 lines, thermal head life 200 km and auto cutter reliability of 3.0 million cuts.
